The highlight of a recent trip to South India was a five-day cruise on a Keralan houseboat along the Backwaters around Aleppey. This was arranged for us through the auspices of Rafeek Mohamed Kozhikoden Thara of 'at Tamarind' Holidays. Although unable to secure quite the standard of houseboat we were seeking, Rafeek went out of his way to see that we were well looked after throughout our time on the cruise, as well as on the days preceding and following, when he supplied a car and driver to convey us up into the hills.

The cruise itself was wonderful as we slowly meandered through canals, rivers and lakes little frequented by other tourists. Rice fields alternated with flower-lined waterways with small villages lining the reed-strewn banks. Rafeek was constantly in touch with Kumar, our skipper and our wonderful cook, who prepared a dazzling selection of Keralan cuisine morning, noon and night throughout our stay. This was indeed a holiday of a lifetime.

Throughout our holiday from the moment we touched down at Cochin airport until our departure for home, Rafeek remained in touch ensuring that all our arrangements went smoothly. The fact that we had largely arranged our own accommodation apart from the houseboat, did not deter him from  making sure that it entirely met our needs and that our driver was well looked after and always available.

We would certainly recommend contacting Rafeek at Tamarind to anyone considering a holiday in this most wonderful part of India. Next time, we shall certainly use him again, confident in his ability to go the extra mile to secure a first class service and a memorable holiday.

Good day to all! Regarding holiday in Goa with "at Tamarind Holidays", I can say that not in vain spent time! Very nice people, friendly, of course the service is not always great, but to Asian countries, good)))
In Goa, the beaches is a paradise, the weather is great, the water is warm, tours organized very well by"at Tamarind Holidays", much like the tour of Old Goa's great saying waterfalls elephants spices, etc., ruskoyazychny guide))
Generally highly recommend a vacation in Goa. We stayed at a Beach resort at Ashwem beach,  very comfortable, clean no cockroaches etc. Prices are very affordable, the Internet is, the beach clean!

It was a very well arranged Golden triangle tour by you and your team. The pickup from the airport was spot on. The driver Mr Vikram Singh was extremely good and professional in his job. The car was very comfortable and clean. His driving was excellent. The hotels arranged by you very very good and comfortable. The food was delicious. All the important places of interest were covered as per the given itinerary. I sincerely appreciate the professional approach and conduct of the tour that was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my family. Wayanad Trip,Taking around a group of over 40 people ,all in the age group of 65 to 70, for almost three days is not a small task.It is all the more tedious when it is required to take them through a prescribed schedule.  On 2nd week of October 2015, We had an absolutely wonderful experience with at Tamarind Holidays during my recent trip to Wayanad,Kerala. The Trip was very well organised and managed. Our agent, Mr. Rafeek - the Director of the company & his team did everything in their respective power to ensure that we had a wonderful experience in Wayanad & Calicut. They created an interesting, relaxing & of course romantic 3 days itinerary for my Honeymoon trip. The resort in Wayanad  & Raviz Kadavu resort at Calicut  where we stayed was fantastic, safe & with great hospitality.
